About the Company

An innovative hospitality group founded in Lisbon, dedicated to making guests and team members feel truly at home, is recruiting a 3rd Cook. Role

We are recruiting a 3rd Cook to support daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all preparation, portioning, and basic cooking tasks contribute to a smooth and high-quality service. This role is essential in maintaining consistency, efficiency, and teamwork within the kitchen.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare, weigh, and label ingredients according to daily prep lists.

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation throughout the shift.

• Assist line cooks with basic cooking tasks, such as blanching, portioning, and stock upkeep.

• Rotate stock using FIFO and report low levels or quality issues.

• Handle waste disposal in line with recycling and compost guidelines.

• Record temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and allergen controls.

• Follow chef instructions and standard recipes consistently.

• Support the dishwashing area and prepare staff meals when required.

Desired Profile

• 0–1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary internship.

• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen tools and ingredient preparation.

• Knowledge of hygiene standards and food safety practices.

• Organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure.

• Team-oriented, respectful, and eager to learn.

• Basic English required; additional languages are a plus.

• Motivation to grow into higher kitchen roles, such as 2nd Cook.

Working Hours

To be defined according to shifts.

Contract

Fixed-term contract.

Salary

€11,300 per year.
