Role
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our industrial unit in Rabo de Peixe, Azores. This role plays a key part in ensuring the proper functioning of factory operations through the planning, coordination, and optimization of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement repair and maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in equipment usage.
• Monitor costs and activities in line with approved budgets.
• Improve equipment reliability and ensure safety standards are met.
• Report department KPIs to Plant Management.
• Propose technical improvements to enhance cost efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance activities.
• Estimate costs, timelines, and resources for maintenance interventions.
• Prepare and monitor work orders.
• Evaluate and manage third-party service providers.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the maintenance team.
Candidate Profile
• Degree in Engineering, Management, Industrial Maintenance, or similar fields.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
• Results-oriented mindset.
• Proactive, dynamic, and autonomous.
Working Hours
09:00 AM – 05:00 PM.
Offer
• Annual salary between €35,000 and €50,000.
• Fixed-term contract.
