A leading company in the production sector in Portugal, with a long-standing tradition and strong international presence, is recruiting an Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrician to support and ensure the smooth functioning of industrial operations.
Role
We are recruiting an Industrial Maintenance Technician – Electrician to play a key role in developing and implementing strategies that ensure the proper functioning of industrial operations.
Main Responsibilities
• Perform functional tests and interpret electrical diagrams for the installation of new systems and machinery.
• Design and assemble control and distribution panels; install motors in star and delta configurations; perform bearing repairs and replacements.
• Conduct inspections of emergency generators, including batteries, filters, and related components.
• Carry out maintenance on industrial air-compression systems, including filters and oil changes.
• Execute corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical systems for production machinery and infrastructure.
• Perform electronic welding tasks.
• Install and configure frequency inverters and servo drivers.
• Analyze required materials and identify component replacement or adjustment needs.
Desired Profile
• Professional training in industrial refrigeration, electricity, or electronics.
• Electrician certification.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and compressor groups.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities.
• Dynamic, proactive, and autonomous.
Working Hours
08:00 – 17:00.
Contract
Fixed-term contract.
Salary
€15,000 to €25,000 per year.
